Tethered Passions

Book / Toy Reviews

When we recieved these two corporal punishment instruments to review we were both surprised at how beautifully crafted they were. Have a look for yourself!

Sadly we had a lot to deal with, including over a year apart, my bout of depression/agoraphobia and top drop early last year on my last visit, and Richard’s own illness and decreased masochism on this visit.

I was disappointed that we never got to write about these instruments, but we set some time aside before I left to focus on them, and here they are.

The top instrument in the picture is a suede cat ‘o nine tails with wooden beads at the ends of the tails and the black and red one is a flogger. They are both fun to use and easy to control (I suspect they are balanced in the handle end or something?). I know little about flogger/whip design but these are inviting and sit in the hand nicely. The visual and tactile aspect of them makes them special in my eyes.

As to the sensations produced, the flogger delivers plenty of sting with a small amount of thuddy body. Richard says these are by far his favourite for being pelted on with, and we have a quite a few floggers and similar things.

So not only are they pleasing to look at and handle but they produce the ideal sensation for masochistic pleasure!

Have a look at some of their stuff!

Comments

They’re gorgeous! And, very off topic, I quite like the colors. Especially of the suede one. Leather is such an interesting material, and I like seeing it used in ways that emphasize its natural colors and qualities.

Yes, they are. They look and feel like they’ve had love put into them and that’s something money doesn’t always buy.

I’ve never tried one of theirs (I should ask them if they have a distributer here in Oz) but they look amazingly intricate on their website. Braided handles on some whips as well. God, they take a lot of work!

We were very lucky to get this cat and flogger :)

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Tethered Passions. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
