I made pet a card for Valentine’s Day. I wanted something hand-drawn and I had a bit of a job getting it into the computer. It didn’t come out brilliantly but it’s the thought (and time) that counts :)

It’s too big for the page so I’ll link to it.

I hope you like it enough to put it on your site or something. I don’t think using lined paper helped.

And of course you are way more than a pet to me. You have given me a space in which to grow out of the wreckage of my past and flower into my real self. You put up with my foul moods and when I’m sad you tend to me with a patience and affection beyond sainthood. In short, you make me feel special all the time. I am eternally thankful for what you’ve done for me and my many selves, and I dream about your touch in so many ways every day.

Once upon a time I needed a miracle, and thank the world, I got it.
