Let’s forget shoes and boots for a minute, and go back to the roots. Feet are wonderful things - without them, not only would be be reduced to walking around on stumps, but we’d have nothing to put shoes and boots on in the first place.
I have seen in BDSM forums people, always male, ask what the hell is it about feet, and do Dommes choose it because it’s the lowest part, or just to be awkward?
My only answer to that is, what a stupid question! It’s pretty much common knowledge that the muscles and bones in feet are tender and have a lot of feeling in them - some men just forget this because they let the pressure of their own weight create what is pretty much a shoe sole on the bottom of their foot out of dry skin. Taking care of your feet rewards you with sensual pleasures which must purely be independant from gender. The only difference is that men ‘caring for’ their feet might be considered gay, or lacking in masculinity. Personally if I had a girlfriend that wouldn’t let me do something on the grounds that it was ‘too gay’, I’d dump her faster than you can say “Alakazam”.
But that’s besides the point. Richard doesn’t look after his feet (I wish he would take more care, after all, he is my toy), but he is an incessant ‘giver’ - even getting him to accept a massage from me when I think he needs it can be hard work.
Two days ago I saw a chiropractor becuase of my back pain, and he said I was very good at recieving massage. When he played with my feet for a few intense seconds I’m just glad I managed to remain professional an not make any silly noises :)
So primarily the foot fetish, to me, is about sensuality. Well cared-for feet like walking on warm tiles, fuzzy carpet, and of course warm flesh! A massage to the feet is almost like being massaged all over your body.
The fact that feet have potentially humiliating connotations or that working one someone’s feet resembles servitude is what sets the fetish off. I’m sure vanilla guys get some kind of kick out of foot massage - it’s not just that she is enjoying it, it’s the fact that touching the feet is very intimate and private. It’s loaded with assertive yet slightly submissive adoration, a bit like a peck on the rear in that respect.

I think you pretty much nailed it, except you forgot one important detail: most Feet are just plain Beautiful. Of course, they’re More beautiful in a pair of 5 Inch Stiletto Pointy-Toe Pumps or a pair of Classic 6 Inch Juliets, but Womens Feet are naturally Well Sculpted, Shapely, and Gorgeous. The Curve of the Arch flowing down into the ball of the foot, making that delicious angle. The Sensitive Little Toes wiggling, begging to be touched. The gentle curve of the instep, the top of the foot, as it flows between ankle and toe. Most Women’s Feet are Just Beautiful.
I, Personally, much prefer them in heels because, if nothing else, it accentuates all of the most beautiful features of any foot. And of course, with Heels you get The Walk. The Walk that is so decidedly Feminine. So Gentle and Fragile, yet so Powerfully Hypnotic. I am, at heart, a shoe fetishist, but I can still VERY Much Appreciate a pretty pair of Feet.
Forget Big Boobs, Forget Round Butts, though those things ARE nice. For me, Feet are the single most attractive feature on any woman, and very much deserving of worship.
