It’s been an extremely emotional time for me. Today I made the arrangements for my journey to the airport on Monday. By the passing of Monday we will be reunited.
The ritual of organizing the trip brought tears to my eyes. My many perverted fantasies are in some ways a coping mechanism, a security blanket for grown-ups - something intense and passionate to focus on to take my mind off the fact that the man that I love is 3000 miles away. Not that they aren’t real - far from it (as you will see), but it really puts things into perspective.
