Who is greater? It depends on what era in history you are referring to and what type of society you are dealing with. In early history the males were superior because of the need for brute strength and the killer instinct involved in the hunt. Life was crude and unrewarding-survival was paramount. Then there are patriarchic societies where even the females tolerate male dominance because they would be terrorized otherwise. In strict Moslem societies a woman can be raped through no fault of her own and be subjected to shame or death, extremely unfair. These societies are marked by limited progress and acheivement, even by the males because all must limit their vision in order to support this counter-productive system,However, as a society becomes more civilized and cultured the true abilities and creativity of females emerges and male sexist bigots rebel against any demonstration of the superior qualities of women. When women are the heads of state their realms experience golden eras because those rulers are not usually war mongers, but desire to see enlightenment and success take place instead of aggression and destruction. Witness the Elisabethan Era in England or the Victorian and it isn’t difficult to decide the question.
