Belly Appreciation - But Is It A Fetish?

Sensual Pleasures

One of my favourite aspects of women’s wear, aside from the shoes and boots and other neat footwear that men are denied, is the inclusion of open midriffs. While on bratty girls it can look tacky and attention-whorey, usually I find the exposure of the belly very cute and aesthetically pleasing.

I didn’t notice the ubiquitous crop-top and friends until I began to feel like I should be wearing female attire myself. Then it was like it seemed to be everywhere. I think back in 2000 or so it was perhaps slightly more in fashion, though it still seems to be ‘in’ today.

When I first wore a short top in the privacy of my bedroom, I was relieved that I didn’t look silly in it. I did feel a strong sense of sexual arousal, but this faded for good after about an hour. It did have a lasting ‘energizing’ effect for my sexuality, probably because it was liberating for me and was my first step to learning about female attire.

How this look fits into domination and D/s is interesting. The bare belly look has a lot of cute and playful connotations to me. To reveal your belly is actually the ultimate submissive act in the animal kingdom. It signifies that you are not going to fight - since the stomach is a vulnerable area. This is a wonderful double message if you then go on to dominate a willing partner. Plus most men just find it a turn-on anyway; it’s almost like giving him a glimpse of naked-ness.

Another thing is that my belly is one of my most sensual areas. There is nothing like feeling a cool breeze or a hot tongue wisping around your navel. Since I prefer to do domination whilst fully clothed, a cropped top or some other kind of open midriff outfit provides a good balance, leaving exposed what is probably one of my more feminine assets.

Do I consider myself a belly fetishist? Not really, since there is no ‘story’ to it. It feels good because it feels good (whereas shoes, for example, are a fetish - they feel good because of the power story waiting to be told by the design of the shoe and the wearer of them). I am not a fetishistic transvestite and do not wear clothes for sexual thrills. Maybe just occasionally to cause them.

Comments

Honestly I don’t think I gave belly buttons much attention until we got together.

Now licking yours is one of the great sensual treats of my life.

With or without D/s I’m happy that it pleases you so much.

I have to say I have a midriff and navel fetish, but it is more than a fetish, it is an obsession. A girl even broke up with me because I would wake her up by kissing her sexy stomach, and caressing it. She even said that is why I love her, I am using her for her midriff.I am here to admit that I love those parts on a woman and may they keep showing them on the beach and in the malls. God bless the female body!!!
